Top ridge ventilator to supply 5,000 m2 gap per metre to supplement eaves | |
My situation is a wet fit concrete interlocking duopitch root. I need to supplement the 25mm eaves gap with the required top of ridge ventilation. There seem to be very different choices. Marley sell a top of ridge ventilator which would mean grinding off roughly every third ridge tile. By contrast Versa-Tile supply a plastic unit which replaces a few tiles. Presumably these latter would be installed by loosening some of the tiles just below the ridge. Which approach do you take when you add ventilation to an existing roof?
