please can anyone tell me what a deflected roof is as this has shown up on a survey that ive had

not a roofer not 100% sure but i think it as something to do with the roof moving independant to the building it sits on to stop stress on either stucture,if you find out any different could you please let me know,i work in the building trade but not roofing side,sorry if i could not help.
