Rubber Roofing

For many years slate roofs have been popular, nowadays a more environmental friendly and durable material – rubber – is used to imitate slate roofs. Looks just as good and costs far less!

Rubber roofing is made of recycled rubber – old rubber products like old tires are melted and highly water- and weather-resistant roofing is produced – no matter whether it is hot in summer or cold in winter, this roofing provides protection all year round!

The roof is made up of shingles of synthetic rubber and can be cut into shape when needed with a simple sharp utility knife, stainless nails are used to install the shingles. The rubber roofing comes in various colours and is completely worth its price – though a little more expensive than a regular asphalt roof, it is ten times as durable and yet costs less than other shingle roofs while still looking as good.

Rubber roofing is also unbelievably low-maintenance but keep in mind not to use any specific chemicals for cleaning. Consult an expert when you purchase the roofing about what to use for cleaning.

Embellish your home with a reliable rubber roofing and you will not have to be worried about the roof in stormy weathers!

I want to put a new roof over the old roof. Approximatey 4500 square feet. I require a cricket to be built on one side of the roof (50-60 feet, 3 to 4 ft wide down to zero). This side has water accumulation due to a parapet wall and the drains do not work properly. I like to close the drain and divert all water towards one end using the cricket. Some one has suggested torch down rubber roofing.
Appreciate your help. We need the roofing done within a short time.
thanks
